Fans also battled the heat to watch the game.
Players took to the field.
Fans drank water to keep hydrated.
The sun was high in the sky during the game.
Cards flag flying high.
Workers used fans to cool down.
Coolers were a popular accessory at the game.
Heat rising off the streets outside of the stadium.

The heat didn't keep a youth baseball tournament from playing at the University of Louisville.
