The Louisville Metro Police Department held its first Chess Classic at the Louisville Metro Police Department Gym on West Jefferson Street.

Officers have spent the last several weeks helping the middle school children on their chess skills. The Chess Classic give officers an opportunity to have a positive one-on-one experience with the community.
