Lane closure on ramp from I-64 to I-264 scheduled for June 17-22 | Transportation
LOUISVILLE, KY - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists that the entrance ramp from westbound Interstate 64 to westbound Interstate 264 (Watterson Expressway) will be reduced to one lane next week. Contract crews will be performing bridge joint and concrete pavement repairs on this ramp.
The ramp will remain open during this work, but will be reduced from two lanes to one.
This lane closure is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17 through 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22. Motorists should expect heavy delays and take alternate routes when possible.
This work is part of the I-264 construction project for concrete pavement repairs between Browns Lane and Westport Road (mile points 18.4 to 20.7). Hall Contracting, Inc. was awarded the contract for this project in the amount of $8.1 million. The work is scheduled for completion by July 31, 2013.
