Police: Man attempted to abduct child in Louisville business | News
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A parent's worst nightmare came true at the L & N building in Louisville.
A 1-year-old child was playing on the floor near an office when police said David Mitchell grabbed the child's arm and tried to leave the building. When the child's mother chased Mitchell, police said he let the child go and took off.
Mitchell was arrested after employees at the building gave police information he gave while submitting a request for food stamps.
He is facing a charge of kidnapping and is being held on $25,000 full cash bond.
