TARC getting electric buses | News
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The metro got a little greener after TARC unveiled new electric buses Wednesday.
Louisville will be getting five of these to replace some of TARC's most environmentally unfriendly vehicles.
A $4 million grant helped to pay for the buses. TARC kicked in $500,000. The electric bused are expected to be on the road in about a year and save the city thousands of dollars every year.
