LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – What if Louisville became the water capitol of the world? That is just one of the many questions on the table at the Idea Fest.
Louisville’s annual festival kicked off Tuesday morning at the Kentucky Center. The event features speakers and presenters in a variety of fields including science, technology, business and the arts.
Mayor Greg Fischer even moved his office for this week to be more involved in the situation.
“We’re sharing some pretty wild innovative ideas that could be as things that have happened in our history and how we in the moment begin to connect all the dots to build strength to impact people’s lives with water,” said Mark Hogg, WaterStep CEO.
This is the 12th year for the festival in the metro. Idea Fest runs through Saturday.
