Accused shooter in deadly dispute appears in court | News
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The man accused of opening fire during a neighborhood meeting made his first court appearance Saturday morning.
Mahmoud Yousef Hindi, 55, is accused of opening fire during a homeowner's association meeting at Springdale Community Church Thursday evening. Police said Hindi shot and killed Dave Meritt, 73, and injured Marvin Fisher, 69.
Hindi pleaded not guilty in court Saturday morning. He is being held on a $1 million bond.
