LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A new book on the market takes an inside look at Minor League Baseball in Kentucky.
The author spent the 2010 season following around the four teams in Kentucky including the Louisville Bats and the Lexington Legends.
While you make think Minor League Baseball is a glamorous life, just one step away from the major leagues, it is not always that way. A minor league player’s life is long hours, not much time off, cheap hotels, and fast food.
The book also looks at the family support behind these players. Bluegrass Baseball - A Year In The Minor League was released in July.
