More ramps scheduled to close in Spaghetti Junction | News

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – More traffic changes are coming to Interstate 65 and Spaghetti Junction.

According to Andrea Clifford, with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, said the exit ramps from I-64 east and west to I-65 south are scheduled for closure beginning at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 14. Drivers should follow the signed detours via I-264 to I-65.

Clifford said the construction contractor has until the end of July to complete repairs on these ramps. 

The following ramps continue to be closed and will remain closed for the duration of the project:

• The exit ramp from I-64 east to I-65 north in Kentucky
• The exit ramp from I-65 south to Market Street in Indiana
• The entrance ramp from Court Avenue to I-65 south in Indiana

According to KYTC, the ramps from I-64 west and I-71 south to I-65 north and the I-65 north exit ramp to Jeffersonville (Exit 0) are also currently closed. These ramps will remain closed through mid-July. 

Vehicles wider than nine feet are restricted from traveling through the work zone.
 
All work is scheduled to be completed by Aug. 15, 2012.
