I-64 & I-71 ramp openings delayed | News

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Don't expect to be able to get from I-64 to I-65 until at least Thursday, July 12th.  KYTC is pushing back opening the exit ramps that have been closed for more than a week because they need more work.

KYTC says the concrete on the ramps from Northbound I-65 to Northbound I-71 and to I-64 was more deteriorated than expected, so it's taking longer to fix them.

They're part of the construction project revamping the John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridge that includes the approaching ramps in Spaghetti Junction.

KYTC has pushed back the reopening of these ramps to 5 a.m. on Thursday, July 12.
