Pink rally held for breast cancer awareness | Health

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – There was a bit of a party Friday afternoon at Fourth Street Live.

The pink rally served as a chance for the American Cancer Society to get the city pumped up for the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event.

Friday, organizers got the word out and made sure everyone was able to sign up.

“I’m all about everybody checking their ta-tas. Men too cause men get breast cancer too and some people forget that they get breast cancer too,” said Tina Griffith, breast cancer survivor.

The event is slated for October 28 at Waterfront Park in Louisville.
