Louisville – Metro Council President Jim King (D-10) will join officials with MSD, Metro Public Works and representations of the German/Paristown Neighborhood Association for the formal dedications of a new “green initiative project” in District 10.
The dedication will take place at 11:00am at the corner of Ellison and Swan Streets. Representatives of MSD and Public Works will be on hand to explain how the garden is designed to control storm water.
The new “Rain Garden” project is an effort to store and filter storm water in an urban area of Metro Louisville. The EPA has designated the Rain Garden as a demonstration project adaptable for other cities.
