Fun in the mud for the March of Dimes | Community Spirit

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Over 300 March of Dimes supporters got knee-deep in mud to help raise money for healthy babies.

One in seven babies is born too soon in Kentucky and prematurity is the leading cause of newborn death.

“The goal today was for folks to come out and have a good time,” said Cecil Brookins, March of Dimes. “The process is for the March of Dimes to fight for prematurity and healthy babies.”

This was the fourth year for the event that took place at Thurman Hutchins Park.
