LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The Jefferson County Board of Education voted Monday night to set the graduation schedule for all high schools in Jefferson County Public Schools.
JCPS officials said approximately 6,000 students from the district’s 23 high schools were expected to graduate during ceremonies that will be held June 5, 6 and 7.
The school board typically waits until mid-March to approve the graduation schedule since it is unlikely the district will have to cancel any more school days because of inclement weather. Graduations cannot take place until the final day of school has passed.
